African gray digging contained by dust?
i have a pair of african grays. they are abut the boy is 7 years old and the girl 6 years weak. they live together. will to day i clean them out, and relisd i had no beding for the bottom of the coop. will i put shaving down. now the girl is digging at the bottom of the cage all the time wich she have never done that befor. ?

Try mixing plenty "Peat" in with the Wood shavings( not sawdust)she is preparing the nest box,don't interfere by moving anything out of her way. start to nurture them extras plenty of Cuttle-bone and greens Sweet Corn Cob.

Edit it would be no good her nesting on the floor she needs a nest box,the eggs would just roll around and whether fertile you would loose any young.
may be she is laying eggs
