AMAZON PARROT NEED Help With Biting And Agressive Issues?

Aggressive double yellow headed amazon i am getting its cage bound is it possible to bring under control it it bites and is real aggressive
Answers:    I also own a Double Yellow Nape Amazonian Parrot of my own named "Forrest". My Brothers and my mother had bought him for me as a Christmas, Birthday and Graduation Present wager on in 1999 from Pets Mart when he was only 5 months dated. Since then he has been a bit aggressive nearly the same way as your parrot have been. But usually their aggressiveness comes either from person Sick, Too cold, bored, Jealousy, or because their breeding season is already in effect and they don't have any one to breed with ( particularly not with their Owners ) - as crazy as that sounds. my parrot has done nearly the same thing with me. Usually what I do next to My Parrot is just tell him "No" and just put him surrounded by his cage for time out for just about 10 minute and voice to him that if he behaves then I will stretch out up his cage when he has calmed down or I would rub his tummy - which would calm him down and variety him fall asleep, believe it or not. Also what I usually do with him is try to sermon to him gently and reward him when he behaves and never scream at him or punish him. Screaming at him will simply make matters worse and will only get things impossible for both of you to the point that he might never have trust in you - and I am pretty sure that you don't want that. Also try not to consider giving your copier away because since he already sees you as his owner and as his surrogate parent he might die out of loneliness or betrayal . Instead treat your parrot charitably and lovingly just like you would with a 4 year weak child and little by little you will see that he will relax and his aggressiveness will start to decline. Try this and see if it helps. I did this with my impressionist and it helped. Good Luck to both you and your Parrot !
I have been told that you touch the bird on the beak if he bites i tried it and it worked with my bird
