Are Ringneck Parrots a Good Pet?

Answers: There are many different ringneck parrots (see http://www.avianweb.com/ringneckparrots. , which also has details of the diverse types). The two most commonly kept as pets are the Indian Ringneck and the Alexandrine parakeets, either of which can make fine pets, though they're both fairly loud.
