Use Positive Reinforcement Techniques.
This have to be a positive all the time.To get the owl use to you and trust you as well. And to own this owl interacting with you, Never force the owl to do anything! Stand or sit on a high stool offer the owl a treat you know he like give the bird the cue to fly to you with treat in appendage,If he wont fly to you sit still and ignore him and this behavior and remove the food you offered him. This is called closing window opportunity which process the owl has waited to long to react. Waite a minute or so or until owl looks close to he may be interested then offer treat again with the cue you hold decided to use for the owl to fly If he does as you want he gets the treat. He has well-read a quick response gets a treat And slow means a lost opportunity. You will hold to teach the bird to fly to you before you teach it to fly free and return this is going to pinch alot of time Patience and Commentment. You have to have a Large place to train this owl as well beside a top so he can't fly away and if he does he may not return. These birds can live to be 25-28 years old so apt luck and hope you can get this wonderful bird trained for what you hope he will do one day.
yes if you train it surrounded by a large cosed aviary or some thing similar but you must be very staunch to do this as they ar a hunting bird and need lots of room good luck the viking
