Beak disease within a bird?
just want to know what the disease is were birds beaks travel all mongo and rotten and chip off half agency and some feathers arnt growing properly on top of his head...
this is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo about 20 years weak

You really need to get your bird to an avian specialist. If you don't know where on earth to find one - contact your local wildlife sanctuary or wires and they'll tell you who your nearest one is. Don't take your time - be hasty about it. Regardless of the speculated diagnosis - you are singular safe going to the avian specialist or other qualified wildlife handler and taking it from there. Answers: Does sound like PBFD - Or it could be a few other things too many to detail ... Best bet is to either post a photo on here or go to an avian vet .
If it is in reality PBFD keep all other birds well absent and wear old cloths wash your hands and settlement with the sick bird last other wise you risk spreading it to others . Dust, plume and poo should be vaced up not swept too and disposed off in a sealed shoulder bag and in the OUTSIDE bin ...
I hope it isn't PBFD .
