Budgie sounds/body verbal skill?
what sounds/actions do budgies make when they are scared?
do they sometimes breath through their mouth when they are scared?
Answers: My budgie when panicky usually by a new object or some noise will just start to flinch and possibly just start flying around my room usually to the top of my lead. I let mine have my whole bedroom to play surrounded by he has several other perches around the room and I never close his cage. He is normally quiet and only makes the rough amount of pandemonium I am making say like playing music. He also likes to label more noise that some objects especially the hoover. If my budgie is panicked or getting worked up you can report to because he opens his eyes wider and looks much more on edge. He also does start to breath through his mouth as a result of this.
Budgies will make loud, protesting squawking noise when they are scared. I've owned budgies for the past 15 years, and I know this sound adjectives too well. They don't always breathe through their mouths when scared. They generally breathe through their mouths when they are too hot and they pant.
