BUDGIES?! am i competent to introduce a modern masculine bird to my two other mannish budgies?

please help! ok well i currently have two mannish budgies which are about 9 and 4 and ive had them for a while i was wodering whether i could introduce a new male budgie to them and they could be friends and stuff.. how will i do it ? will they kill respectively other and what are some good combinations to have ect like one mannish one female ect ja?
intorduce them slowly... put the new budgie ontop or beside the cage so they can say hi but they cant impair him. Then hang onto you new budgie and put him inside the cage but still droop onto him. let the other budgies get used tot he idea or have another male with them. if they act in response ok then let the new budgie progress inside the cage. If everything is still ok then just maintain an eye on them but if they get out of hand later get a seperate cage for the new one and try getting a feminine instead.
If you have 2 cock birds living happily together I would not introduce a hen to the cage, to do so would motive the cock birds to see each other as competition and increase stress levels.
Adding another cock bird could also be stressful. Each time you introduce a new bird, you introduce a investigational character. Birds are like people contained by that each one is different. Sometimes birds just do not like respectively other.
If you are going to introduce a new bird don't just bring him home and stick him surrounded by the cage with the others. It is wise to quarantine any topical bird in case it is carrying any disease that could spread to your existing birds. A minimum of 30 days is usually suggested by vet.
Whether you quarantine or not you can introduce the new bird to the others by placing the cages side by side for a week or so to allow the birds to get to know respectively other before you finally place the new bird in next to the older ones.
Keep a close watch on them for the next few days to ensure that war does not break out. Expect some minor squabbles.

Answers:    The two that are already caged together may have become bonded and one or both of them might not want a newcomer in their shut within.

The best way to find out is to put the new one in another hold nearby & in a couple of weeks let them adjectives out together. Do this for several weeks & see if they become friends...if they do become friends the original two might permit the newcomer in their cage.

If they do, wait until they agree to it stay in their cage at night in the past closing them up together. Putting birds together that don't know each other is like somebody you don't know moving into your bedroom without your green light.

It's also a good idea to let birds do their own pairings to when you are interested surrounded by putting males & females together...that way you are less likely to enjoy them argue.

Good luck...
