Cages and handrail spacing for lovebirds? any websites?? please minister to me?

i have 2 lovebirds for 2 months now they have be secretly escaping there cage everyday. i go to petsmart and purchased this cage that had said suitable for love birds well boy o boy be it a lie...i would like to know what is the right size on the spacing? i have be looking for new cages but i have notice the smaller the spacing the smaller the cage! I do not want to put my babies in a smaller cage... anyone know of any websites that have a large variety of cage with smaller spacing and or bird supply stores in Nj?
According to this website the minimum size is 24"x24" x24" .x1/2" bar space.

The minimum hold size for a single lovebird is a wire cage 30 x 30 x 18. Bar spacing should not be more than 3/4 of an inch apart. For a pair, the pen should be a little bit bigger.

I live in NJ as well. Have you tried Paterson Bird Store surrounded by Totowa? They are well stocked with anything bird related.

Lovebirds are extremely intelligent. My birds figured out how to interested the doors on their cage. You can try locking the doors at the hinges with a knob lock. That should help.
Answers:    I run a Bird Rescue so I have much experience beside birds escaping their cage. My lovebird used to escape then let adjectives the other birds out of their cages. What every you do, do not get a cage near a "guillotine" style door.
I would get a cage that is suitable for a cockatiel.
