Can a cats stare do anything to a bird?
scare it.
how would you consistency if something 10 times your size with claws and fangs be staring at you?
you, like the bird, would feel like lunch.
a cats stare can not do anything to a bird
it's like locking onto a target for the cat, making certain the bird stays in it's view until it fully attacks
Answers: Yes. It can completely unnerve a bird and make it fearful. Birds are prey. Cats are predators. Both birds and cats are hardwired this way and they are born/hatched knowing it. Never allow a cat to stare at your bird. Your bird KNOWS it is "lunch" to the cat.
