Can A aficionado tailed pigeon fly?
I've started raising Tumbler homing pigeons and someone that I know that raised homers said he/she put a fan tailed pigeon resting on his pigeon coop so that the homing pigeons would be more likely to return.He/She said it worked and I want to try it,but I'm worried if the fan tailed pigeon would move off.
Also do fan tailed pigeons show off when ever.Or do the need a feminine for them to do that.
Answers: Fantails can fly but not very far at a clip. That doesn't mean they cant go a goodly distance within spurts.You wont see them flying for the sheer fun of it.
Fantails show off a lot of the time but moreso when a female is present. Very magnificent birds and some have very pretty coloring in the feathers. I love the blues.
