Can anyone identify this sunny rooster?
I received this rooster with some other chickens and I wonder what breed he is. should I breed from him or eat him?

Answers: Looks like an Americana (Easter Egger Chicken)
They are not highly good meat birds due to their size but you can eat him. If you want to breed him he will be fine. Supposably the colored egg trait is domoniate so you may get some colored eggs but it may depend on how much Americana he is as Americanas are only mixed chickens that lay colored eggs.

He is patently of mixed breed,but why kill him if he is keeping the ladies happy?
