Can I buy chicks (baby chickens?)?
If so, where and how much do they cost?
Online, you can find eggs to incubate. But that requires a pin, and an incubator. When i raised chickens that way, it be so FUN! I created an extreme bond with the chicks because i raised them. Unfortunately, i had to make available them all away because of neighborhood rules. Try it out!
Most hatcheries aren't selling chicks until Feb. During the winter, chickens slack off of lay eggs and it is not profitable for hatcheries to mess with hatching any eggs out to sell online.
Try Cackle Hatcheries.com depending on the breed you could spend as much as $3.00 apiece on chicks and that does not include shipping or antibiotics they own that they can give the chick prior to shipping.
Good Luck
This really depends on where you live. A rural area is best where in that are no regulations.
The post office will mail these but only to positive places.

Prices vary depending on the company, the breed and mass.
