Can I contribute papaya to my budgies?

I want to give them something different. They seem to love orange-y foods, and I know that toucans love papaya, but I don't know if I can nurture papaya to my budgies. I've heard people say that it isn;t honest for them, while others say yes, it's fine. So, is it OK or not?
Cannot see why not. Try lots of different fruits/veggies and see what they like. Biggest no-no's are apple seeds and avacodos.

Good for you trying to keep your little buddies relaxed with variety!
yes, this is model for your budgies. i give mine papaya and dried papaya all the time. they love it and it reminds them of being free. you can also furnish them oranges, guava and other fruits and veggies.

thanks-b

dont forget to rate me plz ...;)
Answers:    Yes. Papaya is enzyme rich and very good for the digestive system. It's also illustrious in beta carotene content which is readily convertible to Vitamin A. While many fruit seeds and pits should not be feed, papaya seeds CAN be fed and many birds love them.
