Can I mix powdered cuttlebone surrounded by beside my budgies' hose?

My budgies won't eat their cuttlebone. It's been in their round up for the six months we've had them, and no matter where I put it they disallow to eat it. Cuttlebone is very easy to crush and making a powder out of it is simple- but can I mix that powder into my budgies' drinking dampen? I want them to get the calcium they need, so will putting it in their dampen be OK? What about in their food?
Yes, i think you can do it whether you certain you mix it well:)
No don't mix it with water. Sprinkle it on their food. You own to be careful as that hard outer coating has be known to cause problems. The best way is basically to scrape it with a spoon over the food . Don't use the best silverware either as its pretty scratchy. . If you are feeding a good pellet , a little core and fresh fruits & veggies ,you shouldn't have to worry too much about cuttlebone. It you're worried give or take a few calcium get them to eat broccoli and a couple pieces of slivered or sliced almond
Answers:    Don't ever put anything in your bird's river unless directed to do so by an avian vet. Adding things to the water causes bacteria to grow surrounded by it. And it may cause a bird to avoid the water dish altogether.

You can scrape a bit of cuttlebone over your bird's cooked or raining foods. Just be sure not to leave cooked or wet foods surrounded by the cage too long.

Not a good view. It will contaminate the water, which could make the budgie sick. If they don't eat their cuttlebone, try a mineral block instead. Or perhaps try a flavored cuttlebone, like vanilla or orange. My budgies love the flavored ones. Good luck.
NO don't do that at all. They trademark liquid vitamins for birds that you can squirt into their water bowl, that way they can't piece it or anything, but it's much healthier for them. Plus that has a lot more vitamins and nutrients than lately straight cuttlebone. If you put cuttlebone in there with the marine it will be too concentrated and then they won't drink the water. I wouldn't even try that.
Putting it in their sea won't help, because this form of calcium would not be water soluble.
So it would basically purely settle onto the bottom of the water dish as a "dirt" or "sediment" and they would get little to no benefit from it.

Adding supplements/vitamins to water does not end in bacteria to grow IMMEDIATELY.
Sure, if you leave the hose for days and days stuff can grow, but this can happen with or without supplements added.
Point human being - your birds should be getting fresh water at least once daily anyways, so adding up a supplement isn't going to hurt.

Morning Bird makes a nice water soluble Calcium and Vitamin D3 supplement that can be added to their water. It's call Calcium Plus,
Or, you can try offering a soft food like Orlux Gold Patee or Miracle Meal (Also by Morning Bird, and I actually have some for public sale here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie... ) and sprinkling the ground up/powdered cuttle bone over that.
You could also put it over fresh fruit and veggies, etc.

Something to keep in mind - birds are pretty intelligent, and will typically only consume free choice minerals/grit/cuttlebone, etc., if their body is telling them they call for it.
So don't be TOO concerned if they're not always eating it. They may not certainly need it.
But being that's it's been six months, you might want to look at alternatives.
Greenwing, Blue & Gold, or Moluccan Cockatoo?   My budgie keep getting itself hurt?   Just found owl eggs and the deceased mother how do i hatch the eggs and contemplation for the babies?   I get a unsullied african grey, and changed her toys, very soon she won't play beside them, why?
