Do quaker parrot produce perfect pets?

Hi everyone, I am thinking about buying a Quaker Parrot. Do these make good first parrot??

Thanks!
There not my favorite bird, but many those do like them. They are smart and good talkers. They can swot up tricks fairly well. Every person that I know that bought one have to buy another one a few months later because they loved them so much. They do bite and it can be very hard, but thats adjectives parrots.
Well it depends on where you get it from, and whether it's been handled a lot particularly when it was young. If you buy one from a pet store MAKE SURE it's friendly towards you. i.e. it doesn't try to bite you when you stick your fingers in the round up. Be cautious at first because bird pecks can be painful, but stick your finger in the pen and see what the bird does, if it tries to climb on your finger or clean out under your nail, then most likely it's a friendly bird, if it tries to bite you, it hasn't be handled enough and since you're a first time owner i wouldn't suggest trying to buy one and socialize it your self, it's harder than it seem.

Also i would suggest something like a cockatiel as a first bird, they are much lower maintenance, consequently go from there if you similar to having the bird. just a suggestion
yes but they talk alot and they r so cute but whether u choose the right one they can help u with ur school work
they r unbelievably smart
Yes they are real sweethearts as long as you socialize them well next to people. Avians tend to nibble so make certain you keep hanging items that you like absent from their cage. Also read up on their nutrition. Feeding them just seeds is not ample. They need a very well rounded diet. Enjoy!
Well they simply make other Quaker Parrots, since thats what they are. So if u are looking for a pet that makes Quaker Parrots, i would specifically recommend a Quaker Parrot.
I would try a parakeet first.

Quaker's can sometimes be a handful! They are deeply smart and if socialized properly can be friendly.

My cousin had one that was a sweetheart.but once she be out of her "baby" stage she became mean for some reason..even tho we adjectives handled her very often!
Answers:    mmm thats a tough one as wonderful as they are it's hard to say if they would brand a good first bird. As nice as quakers can be and the fact they can learn to confer if they choose to learn, they can also be a bit onery, a bit dominant in person and quakers are notorious known for being shut within territorial which means they don't really like you messing with their coop weather is't cleaning or changing out toys, so you have to put them someplace away from the pen till you get done with it..I think they can be a bit of a handful for someone who have never had a bird before..

Technically I don't think nearby are any good first birds as all birds are alot of work and considered high matinence and whether your not prepared for the time and committment they require no bird is a good first bird
Every Quaker I have ever met has tried to bite me, even hand-fed babies. I am every good beside animals, its just a Quaker thing.
Yes they formulate good pets, however make sure they are legitimate in your state and check any restrictions that may be on ownership (close banded, have to have a charter etc) quakers are banned in some states and restricted in some others.,
kind f but they drive you crazy when they copy you
We own a crazy impersonator that fell out of its nest. Now grown and a dog removed its tail feathers. Will they grow?   I a moment ago found a kid bird adjectives by itself within a tree. Help! What should I do?   I freshly bought a parakeet and it have not chirped or made a nouns of any genus i enjoy have it a week why?   What should I do whether my birds not munch through her food?
