EVERYBODY PLEASE ANSWER! On a degree from 1-10, how frozen do parakeet bites hurt? (i've have them for 3 weeks?
As I have be bitten by birds ranging from blue and gold macaw to a parakeet . i would say the macaw is a definate 10 and the parakeet is approaching a negative 1 . so you can go from there . suitable luck
Depends on how thick your skin is and where you grasp bit. For me it hurts pretty bad, but all in adjectives I would say it's about a 5 out of 10
My cockatiel bites alot and his beak is about like size as a budgie, never breaks the skin but it smarts a little. You have to remember they use their beaks for "feeling" their method around, especially if they are not finger trained yet. So don't be afraid, you necessitate to handle them in order to train them and whether you are scared because they put their beak down to get up on you or "taste" something it will never work, they sense you are uncomfortable and cannot trust you. Go contained by at a time you are feeling confident and work from there, mine still does not know how to sit on a finger and I actually enjoy to cradle him in my hands and hold him so he feels support. He grabs my hand a couple times, but they don't do it to hurt you intentionally. Be prepared and wear gloves if it bothers you at first, he will be afraid to see a strange entity coming at him and run or try and fly away. Just cuddle him to calm him down at first, don't just pick him up and put him posterior in the cage right away. Hold him and bargain softly even when you are taking him from the cage running and feathers flying everywhere. It will be okay, really! Love those babies and they will show you love back in lots ways! Good luck!

Compared to what? When a budgie bites your finger, it may draw somewhat bit of blood. How much it hurts depends where it bites. An amazon can bite clear to the bone. A big cockatoo or macaw can break bones. A budgie can't do a comparable amount of damage.

how good is our pain threshold? if its elevated then a 1 if its low 10, it depends on the individual, and where the bird get you.
Sometimes 1 but sometimes 6.
They do not cause bruises and occasionally, it will peel your skin a little.But this is comparatively rare.
But you should try no to be afraid of bites from budgies, (:, they dun mean it anyway.

Answers: If they get in the right spot (right on the edge of your finger subsequent to your nail) their tiny beaks can get right in and mannn it hurts! The worst bird bites I've ever have come from budgies, ive been biten by cockatoos before, and budgies are much worse cos they can get into those tiny cracks contained by your finger
I'd give them a 9 out of 10, but only if they carry in that spot, otherwise.a 5
