Help My Cockatiel laid two eggs on Thanksgiving?
My Cockatiel has laid 2 eggs on Thanksgiving I don't think they are fertile because she doesn't let the masculine close to her she will chase him away and I adopted her a month ago
I need to know what does she want for her health I have the chew blocks out and I make certain she has plenty of food and water but does she need anything special I solely want whats best for her

I'm a bird owner myself I have owned all kinds. I own had cockatiels over the years, parakeets, a blue and gold mccaw and im on my second cockatoo. I have a female cockatiel that died from this particular problem but no major worries. It's a inborn thing for tiels to lay eggs but like the website im enclosing is definetly discouraged. But you entail to provide a lot of sources of calcium. My bird died of calcium deficiency thats why she be laying eggs that werent fertile. But read this website and it should help.

Hi, no offense but it is not good for you to start breeding birds and not know what to do. You want to provide lots of cuttle bone at this time when she is laying eggs whether they are fertile or not. I hope i helped and virtuous luck.
