Help please cockatiel problem ?
i just bought two bird but the problem is that i dont know how to i dentify the female or male please minister to heres a link to the pictures of my bird
the one with the washed out face is prolly the male cuz theyre brighter, and the duller one is most likely the womanly. :)
depending on the birds age the tail can tell you the sex by the lines but whether they haven't had their first molt you won't be able to tell. you can't detail much by looking at them since one is a white faced and the other seems to be a peid or cross of pied. if you know someone who is identifiable with teils they can check the space between the pelvic bones a female has around a 1/4 " space between them while a male has no space.
Answers: Actually males will be much more colorful. That is how they attract a mate in nature. (haha purely the opposite of how it is with humans).
The bird on the left at the connection is the male and the right is the female.
I couldn't see the picture well. Look at their tail- the feminine should have horizontal wavy lines- the male's will be pretty plain.
If it is laying eggs it is a girl.
The one on the left is a female. Males have dark orange on their cheeks
