Hi, I want to know how to make home-made bird toys for medium sized birds? Or, any size. Please tell me how to do it near steps, or directions? And what are some bird-safe materials I can use to make them? Like is yarn like the stuff cats play beside safe? Please tell me how to make undamaging, affordable, bird toys. Thanks so much in advance!
Pine cones covered contained by peanut butter and rolled in bird seed and hung up so hey can land on it and festival.
Wild birds like it.
One time we did the pine cones near the peanut and seed for the birds outside. They didn't get any though because my Australian Cattle Dog jump up and ate them while our backs were turned. I know this doesn't answer your question but i thought i'd share.

pieces of pine on a wire like clothes hanger. fibre is not good because they get their feet intertwined. chains ok if they are heavy enough. . . lillyann8
