How do African Grays counter to music?
I had adopted Gabriella, the african gray, when she was 2 years old-fashioned. Now she's 3.
But over the past year, I noticed she acts reasonably strange and makes screeching noises, whenever I play the piano. She get excited and climbs all over her cage. She never acts this style with the music my younger brother listens to on tv. She more likely dozes bad or watches tv.
I'm trying to figure out why she only acts this agency when I play the piano...?
Maybe she doesn't like piano?
Mine bobs his head up and down to the beat of the music. My cockatoo does pretty much the same item only he uses his whole body and bobs from one side to the other. I think most birds similar to music. There is a cockatoo I think her name was Daisy, could be wrong, besides she would dance to the music of The Back Street Boys, you can find it on UTube That was the only music she would really tango to.. It is really funny. I think most birds like music to some degree although they may counter differently to different types.
Answers: She might like the sound of it. I don't have a Gray, but I do enjoy a conure and he responds dance type music. He'll screech along and try to be as loud as the music. He never reacts to anything else, solitary dance music (like industrial/electronica). Birds like listening..thats how they cram to talk. Some birds will even try to mimic/interact with sounds they hear outside.
In reality, its even recommended to leave a radio (not too loud, of course) on when birds are home alone for long periods of time so they don't get the impression lonely and have something to listen to. My conure actually tries to turn on the radio we have contained by the room for him when he's bored.
Probably like the music from the piano. If she did not like it she would growl and make bad noise and hide in corner or have a flapping of the wing fit in her cage. Probably wants to come amalgamate you in playing.
Parrots have been known to show a nouns in music, and different tastes in music. So it's adjectives that she would doze off while the TV is on, and become lively while you play piano. Is she dancing when you play? Or do her eyes pin? It could be that she either loves it, or hate it; depending on weather her reaction is happy or mad.
