How do I seize my birds to "resembling me"?

I got 2 parakeets from a friend. When I try to interact with them they fly around the cage and accomplishment crazy. I found out they are 2-3 years old and my guess is the previous owner didn't interact with them at adjectives. How can I get them to get used to me and eventually come to me or at least not run ballistic?
U should be tremendously patient in case of pets as a rule birds.
try to spend more time with them. Just sit near the cage n keep under surveillance them quietly, try to feed them with ur hand.

start by having them be able to see you as much as possible yak to them gently .you can try to slowly in the cage wile discussion gently to them, its up to you to get them to accept you as a friend not as a opponent.gain their trust and you have friends for there life

Answers:    I agree with the person who answered before me (lol.) Get them sued to your presense, they'll be smaller amount scared of you. What I suggest is to get them used to your mitt as well; put it in their cage for length of time so they get used to it. After doing that once a day for a few weeks, attempt to slowly move it forward to them and they will probably step on your hand. Then do this for a couple of weeks/days until they've grown fully used to you.

Then you can try to run them out. Hope this helps!
