How do I stop a Wagtail (bird) from attacking my Blue Mini (car) and pooping on its roof?
I've tried moving the car to a different location and washed it but it still comes.
Are you sure it's other wagtails? Just wondering if it's the same bird (or pair of birds) or whether you basically happen to live in an area beside a lot of birds.
You can't stop them.
I have the same problem, only next to a family of Magpies.
They have been nesting contained by a tree in my garden for years.
I have resorted to covering my car beside a polythene all over cover every-time I park in my driveway.
Otherwise I wouldn't be able to see out my windscreen contained by the mornings.
Answers: For the people on here suggesting to exterminate the bird shame on you. It is against the law by the way. And not very humane. I would hang up a tin pie pan around the area as it wards stale most birds and other wild life or get a motion detector owl thats director turns and place by the car. Other than that may I suggest a car cover or a garage. Bird must hold nest near by and they have to eat and stir somewhere ...Good luck
I have the same problem with a crow nicking the rubber seals of my windscreen wipers and pooing adjectives over the car. I got some plastic carrier lots and tied them to the front and back of the car - they didn't like the crackling din of them and went and bugged someone else. I'm not saying it will work on the wagtail but it;s worth a try and free! Good luck! xx
buy an airgun and induce fast acting lead poison.
Air Rifle . normal rifle or shot gun but when using shot gun be sure to take mini aswell :P

get a sports car cover there quite cheep u can get them from argos
Not possible. Unless you want the hassle of putting a car cover on.
But your question reminded me of a contract I was on.
I other like to stay on a residential mobile home site, I rent a mobile home for the duration of the contract.
I be running this contract, and not a very popular boss.
I couldn't understand why I was awoken at crack of dawn every day, by strange noises from the roof of my trailer, or why my car be always covered in sea gull crap, I have a look at other cars in the area, not a mark on any of them, I did find out some of my men be on the same site, they knew my car, they know where I stayed.
When I had gone to bed at night they covered my trailer roof and vehicle with bread, sea gulls arrived at first light and did the trade.
What could I do about that?
I would find it difficult to justify firing some guys for feeding the birds.
