How long do you chew over it will transport for my lovebirds to trust me?
I've just gotten two lovebirds yesturday, but they don't seem to like me amazingly much. When I near the cage they back absent and when I put a finer through the cage one of them always goes to the other side, while the other turns absent. When I put my hand inside they have a spaz. /=
I really want my lovebirds to trust me, because I hate have them caged. How long will it take? And are there certains things I could do to help?
You have to spend abundantly of time with them. The more time you spend the faster they will get used to you and come to like you and later come to love you and miss you. My birds are as dear to me as my dog!
Well i had 1 but it died. Mine i get when it was a baby no feathers so it trusted me right away. I come up with that you should get some dry fruits they love dry fruits and give it to them from your hand and they will start trusting you and notice that you mean them not harm.
Answers: Give them a week or so to settle contained by to there new home it is a bit startling for them.
You can get them to trust you by talking and whistling to them every year so they know that you are friendly and are not going to hurt them.
Once they start getting use to you after a few weeks put your hand in the cage slowly but don't move it too much or they will bring back more scared after a month or so they should be friendly and love you lots and they might even sit on your hand.
