How should I approach my two parakeets? ?

Yesterday, I purchased two green parakeets from Pet-smart. I provide them food and water (duh) and though I hate to admit but I bought a small hold. Still I got them two toys to play with. One day I want to consent to them out of the cage and make them explore my room. Though I'm having some difficulty of getting them even close at hand me.

I wouldn't be too intense to let them explore your room. They could easily get injured and/or you'll own a hard time catching them to put them back in their coop. It's best to finger tame them and have them sit on your finger. They can also sit on top of the round up. Just make sure their wings are clipped so they don't fly absent. Supervision is a must with birds. Be patient and give them some time beforehand you start the finger training. Let them get used to you and their new surroundings first.
Answers:    Since you bought 2, they are probably not going to get too friendly with you. It's not hopeless though. You just stipulation a lot of time.

Take ONE of the birds out of the cage (leave the other in the cage) and move off the room. Go into a smaller room and play with the one. At least for an hour. Before you take that one subsidise to the cage, give it a treat - even if it doesn't chomp through it the first few days you do this, keep offering the treats.

Do this with the other one right after the first.

And you need to any invest in a bigger cage or allow them to use your room (even while you are away) for exercise. Just make certain to bird-proof it - no large mirrors, no operating ceiling fans, no buckets of water (can't think about that in your room but you never know), and nothing that they can fall into and take trapped (laundry hamper...). They will probably start exploring your room when you are not there, but they will be okay. Just make certain that when you come back into the room, that you know where they are. They won't often run on the floor but you never know and you don't want to step on one.

Just be long-suffering. Don't give up even when you think it's not working.
