How would you compare a cockatiel to a conure? ?
I have had conures and know their cute personalities and helpful busy behavior. But what about cockatiels? Are they entertaining as a companion like a mimic? Or are they just more like a parakeet say, a bird to more look at surrounded by the cage than to interact with.
P.S. I don't mean to say aloud that parakeets or cockatiels aren't able to be interacted with at all. Just that they give the impression of being to not be as candid as species of parrots.
i hold an albino cockatiel, hes sooo sweet, but i would actually rather have a blue crowned conure, they are sooo amazing birds!!
Budgies and cockatiels are species of parrot, and budgies are not birds to look at, rather than interact near.
Compared to conures, cockatiels are generally less cuddly and less intense. Like the pyrrhura conures, they're quieter and smaller than the aratinga conures.
Answers: They are not quite as affectionate, but, depends a lot within you. If you love and play with it often, it will be very affectinate. do not play, gossip, or learn tricks as much as most conures, but great little friends!
