who are i am in 8th grade.
Your bird is sick and injured, so I hope you want him in the cage to
transfer him the a vet. Certainly you won't tolerate him suffer any longer.
Open one hand, then place gently, but firm satisfactory to go around the neck..with your finger's extend them to benignly hold down the good wing - slightly at the shoulder area, then place your other foot Under the broken wing against the birds body and lift the bird up and into the cage or carrier. Talking softly will lend a hand calm him, but don't let him flutter away beside a broken wing.
Bones in birds are filled with nouns, so they break easily. Be careful.
Also never place any pressure on the chest of a bird, their lungs are not like ours are and you could suffocate the bird.
Answers: use a towel to hold him in ,put it over his subsidise and wings then gently fold them so you can pick him up,telephone a vvion vet and see if he can help him,you are going to have to touch him or he will hert himself more keep him quite and warm and send for a vet
What happen to him to make him sick? Who hurt his wing?
You must pick him up by both wings, even if one is broken. Put him within the cage.
I suspect something terrible happened to your friend when you be not supervising him. If he is in such bad shape and you do not have a slick $500 to purloin him to an avian vet, the best thing to do is put him out of his misery - IF he is in dreadful shape.
If you are too queasy to pick him up with your hands use a towel to cover him and pick him up that way. See what happen to our animals when we do not take good care of them? This bird depended on YOU to maintain it safe. Good luck.
Try scooting him into a network and then placing him in another cage where on earth he won't have as much room to move around and further hurt himself. If you can get him into something like a travel pen, you could take him to the vet, who will know how to handle him and bandage him up. Birds that are busy during the day, often don't have great eyesight within dim light, so if you are able to move him to the other coop when he cannot really see you, he will be easier to work with. Make slow, gentle movements, because birds feel something similar to electricity from their owners or handlers when they make sharp movements in attempting to hold them, medicate them or nurture them (something I heard one time on an Animal Planet program). Hope this helps and may he recover soon.
