I found a bird. Is he sick?
I just found a sparrow on the street, puffed up, and when I touched him, he didn't fly away. My dog sniffed him, and he didn't fly away. I get my old birdcage I had, and picked him up. He stayed puffed up the whole time. Is he sick? Also, my brother says he might have bird flu. But the bird is wild. Bird flu isn't adjectives on wild birds and doesn't spread easily to humans. I'm worried.
Please give me guidance or anything that I can use.
DON'T say go to the vet, because I can't.
He might be sick or just injured. Keep close eye on him. put together sure there is a blanket around the cage to relieve keep him warm. There is vet. phone services u can call and they can tender some helpfull info. Try googling some phone numbers for some hotlines. Good luck, u might have a new pet. =D
I enjoy experienced this before. Please call your local animal control or just go away the bird outside. DO NOT TRY FEEDING THE BIRD OR PETTING IT AGAIN. Handle him with gloves on and DEFINITELY wash the shut within thoroughly. If you do leave the bird in the wild put him essential a birds nest and Monitor the bird for as many days as you can until he is better or the other option.
You don't need to lug him to a vet..they don't treat wild animals..you need to take it to a local wildlife rehabilitation...it will not cost you a entity. Look for one near you here:

Put him back external. The cage was a nice gesture, but this will surely kind him sick! Let nature take it's couse and he will either be fine, or not. Sorry to voice, you cannot heal a wild sparrow.
Answers: If you don't take him to the vet, I hope animal control will. Call your local animal control agency. Don't try to treat the bird yourself. You don't know what is wrong near the bird and it's possible you could catch something from it since it's wild. Please do make the challenge to try and get it help. The earth requests more people who will get involved and help animals.
