I own a mere within my backyard, and at hand are here 20+ ducks; should I nurture them? Who owns them?

Some people say that we shouldn't feed them, thus allowing them to stay alert, hunting, even "flying", but it breakes my heart, they are other hungry.. well, I was feeding them, near very nice scratch/corn, until I read that thing at liveducks.com; what should be the right thing here?
if no one fed them since you shouldnt feed them but theres nothing wrong with the occational bit of bread
Did you merely move her and is is possible the pevious owner had pet ducks? If not they are most likely wild ducks and not owned by anyone. In that bag it is not going to hurt them for you to feed them as long as your aren't feeding them bread which basically have no nutritional value to them, but you don't have to feed them. They are without a flaw able to find their own food. If however they were the former owners pet ducks they are likely pinioned (bone within the wing removed making them unable to fly) and you would need to continue to nurture them.
it is fun to feed them, but once you start you may end up beside a ton of them. they are wild and will survive
Unless they're in a coop, they are wild and belong only to themselves. Cracked corn and or stale cheerios is ok to nurture them. Just not too much in one feeding, if you start to "spoil" them they can become aggressive and strident and are capable of damaging your yard and poop adjectives over the place. Be careful they don't get used to your feeding, they enjoy to be able to fend for themselves.
Answers:    I'm certain they get plenty to eat. Ducks are great consumers of grasses, insects, minnows, and small lizards and frogs. They are most likely different breeds of ducks and are common on many ponds and lakes. It is superfluous to feed them. If you chose to do so, feed them duck food, or even chicken scratch, but stay absent from things like popcorn, chips and bread. These things have no nutritional value to them, and can certainly cause malnutrition if this is adjectives they eat. Although bread and unsalted popcorn will not actually hurt them, it is not a nutritious diet. Just let them walk on as they have been. They may seem hungry, but believe me, they are fine. Feeding them does not wreak them to "not be alert" or lessen their ability to find their own food. It is true that they may hang around more. Be sure not to nurture them in your back yard, or they may come within looking for food and you may have more duck poop than you care to see, making it dangerous to stride about in your bare foot. Feed them at the lake side, if you feel you must nurture them. If you start feeding them, and then stop...they will find food other places, so you don't have to verbs about that. Most people just nurture them the wrong things. The website you speak of is entirely WRONG. As long as you feed them a things like you have be, there is absolutely no harm. Please read my profile.
Do Not Feed them.
They will always hang down around your house. If they see you they will honk and chase you around.

They are wild animals and can feed them selves.

No one owns them. they are free.
okay..maybe feed them like once surrounded by awhile is good enough..not frequently
If they are extreme you should not feed them. They will move on as winter sets in and whether they eat too much, they will be too heavy to fly.
It won't hurt to feed them, but whether they get used to it, they may stick around like a stray dog. Depends on if you want that or not.
If you want to feed them, nurture them...it won't disrupt their instincts.
And no one owns them if they live around the lake surrounded by your backyard.
Most likely they are free roaming birds and it would probably be best to let them find their own food. Because it is true, that if you start feed them then they could see potential predators as friendly and willing to care for them. That is not something you want to arise. I would recommend, if you really care for the ducks, to put food outside in the vicinity them, just make sure you don't nurture them directly, put the food out for them to find.
I own them

and whether you feed them again im calling the * cops
shoot them!
good eat'in!
Most likely they are wild ducks and not a soul owns them. Sure, if you want to feed them, feed them. Wild birds do not become acclimated to humans close to other wild animals would when fed. As long as you don't mind them making a mess..nurture them all you like. It will not keep them from foraging on their own or from migrating whether they need to. Do refrain from feeding them bread though...it is primarily just empty calories with no nutritional worth that will do more harm than good. The corn diet you mentioned sounds much better.
I don't think you should nurture them. If you do then they will come back them bring their babies and their babies will bring their babies and so on. But to get rid of them my friend put a rope that ropes rotten her pond and they never come up anymore!
You can feed them adjectives you want but prepare to have 10x more later
