I consider my parakeets are mate when I am not around approaching whem I am at university how do I know whether they are mate?

How do I know I have a feeling that my parakeets are mating when I am at university because when I come home I see the male nodding its head up and down at the feminine and touching beaks are they mating when I am at school?
they will usally kiss and sing to each other
There are a few things that need to happen contained by order for them to be mating. First off, they stipulation to be more than 6 months old. Second, are you sure that they are male and feminine? It's really hard to tell unless you have a trained eye. Same sex birds will deed like you described above. Third, they have to be attracted to each other, they won't merely mate because they are stuck in there together.

There's no way to explain to if it's happening when you aren't there, but you may want to create a nest within there just in defence any eggs are made. Parakeets lay eggs if they are having sex or not, so don't see an egg and assume they are. If they continue to do it, you will eventually see or hear it come to pass. Good luck!
Answers:    There are a few answers that are for a time off from the truth .
Budgies can and will mate from 3 months of age ... EVEN THOUGH THEY CAN THEY SHOULDN'T as they aren't mentally ready for it ...
( Wild budgies and captive budgies are different)

Nodding and bobbing of the lead and kissing is a sign of affection ( bonding gesture) along with feeding .

If you have places surrounded by their cage or aviary like a nest box or a seed dish they can and will most imagined mate ...

HOWEVER BUDGIES, WILL HAVE SEX FOR PLEASURE

Also Hens will lay eggs with out mating ( this happens within older budgies)

So yes they could be mating or they are just bonded

Earlier morning up to that time school go out and have a sticky beak ..

resourcefully... when birds bob up and down theyre just entertaining themselves.. and birds seek out affection from one another so probably not. i dont know how old your birds are but feminine birds dont even start laying eggs normally after 2-3 years. it varies surrounded by birds.
Could be. If you provide them with a nesting box and the birds lay eggs, it is a definite sign that they have mate.

Unless the number of eggs laid is abnormally large, that could mean that you hold two hens instead of a male and a female pair.
