I a moment ago bought a dying out parakeet it's cere is brown is that a masculine and how matured is it?

No, that's a feemale, males have blue cere's. If you can tell the color of its cere it is probably over 10 months...virtuous luck
well, if it's brown then that money it is a girl.

here are some really helpful sites, that helped me a lot!

finding out a budgie's sexual characteristics: http://www.birds-online.de/allgemein/ges...

finding out how old a budgie is: http://www.budgieplace.com/age.html
Answers:    If the cere is brown, more then likely you have a womanly parakeet ((who is in breeding season)). After a while, you'll noticed the cere will changes color. Brown to table lamp blue ---> Meaning she is going out of breeding season. This is perfectly normal. To age your parakeet. you'll have to look at the cap on it's head. The number of bar on the head will enlighten you it's age. This sounds confusion. (I know)

This site is very helpful, I personally use it adjectives the time.

Males have a blue cere, so you have a female.it would be at smallest a year old if its cere is already completely brown
