It depends on the strength of the genes in both horses..if the stallion have regularly thrown black foals, and if your mare has thrown foals that look more like any stallions she have bred with before, it is likely that you will return with a black foal
It depends whether your mare have one or two copies of the greying gene. If she got it from both parents any foal she has will turn grey.
If she is heterozygous for grey what colour she can throw depends on what colour the grey masks.
The probability are against her having a black foal though.
