Hello !
I saw this program , With a African Grey Parrot ! Pulling its feathers Under its neck and every where else out as of depression !And it had to after me kept with his owners Wife !
The parrot had to endure a course or treatments ! The women said it had costed her over lb500 ! The Parrot will always be having treatment !
I would NOT buy this copycat ! Unless your very experianced and have had depressed parrot before !
I agree with the first poster. They pull out their feathers due to boredom and depression. Even if you are domestic all day long with the mimic, unless you know how to stimulate and entertain your parrot then he'll hold on doing it. Before you buy any animal you need to do your research but especially with parrot because they are incredibly intelligent animals. If you are confident that you know what you are doing or can learn quickly and are dedicated after buy it. If not don't.
Answers:    i would buy it my dad have two african greys and the one pulled all his feathers out it is because they are bored and they need to be sprayed with hose down to keep dust mites off them. it might do it again but they only ever do it whether they are bored so just give it some toys. i give my amazon ginger winged parrot dog toys from the pound shop as they only chew them any agency.
