Is it flawless to use a enclose that birds enjoy already lived and died surrounded by? ?
well for christmas I am getting parakeets. My cousins had parakeets like 5 or 6 years ago. He have 2 in the cage at a time and it is a pretty big and nice cage. It is a bit dirty though and has bird feathers still at the bottom. I could clean it and it would be as good as trial, but would it be healthy for my young parakeets to live in an environment that eh around 6 birds died contained by? Thanks so much
I would not take the chance but that is of late me. I think being safe is better than possibly human being sorry. If decide to use clean it well and disinfect. Make certain rinse well also. Good luck.
logically. as long as you rinse the tray and wipe with a moist cloth everything should be fine! i still have a cage surrounded by my backyard that my birds used to live in but we gave them away so yea! theres really no difference. basically wipe thoroughly and it should be fine :D
its fine just disinfect. that will eliminate any germs the birds may have had.
Wash it out really well with soap and bleach dampen. make sure you rinse out the bleach so that the bird does not make contact beside it. And your good to go.
Answers: Put in your bathtub or laundry tub if it will fit and bath the whole cage with hot soapy dampen you Scrub the corners ,cracks and crevices well. Rinse Pour over or wash again with a solution of some vinegar and hose down. Not too strong -don't want to take the paint off Rinse well and you should be fine.If your Mom have one of those little steam cleaners that would work too. There shouldn't be any rust on the cage. If you live in a part of the country where on earth there is sunshine. let the cage dry within the sun . Sunshine will kill many germs. You should be all set . Don't forget to verbs the food and water dishes. Cleaning cages is very messy so whether you have to do it indoors clean up the mess and your Mom and Dad will think intensely highly of you and recognize you are becoming a grow responsible person.
