Jenday conure could be afraid to stay within round up?

i have a 7 month old jenday conure he has be with me for 3 days he is geting bettter every day a little terrified still but better.
what my worries are inside his cage he wont eat much or do almost anyhting i dont even deem he sleeps at night. when i put him in the chage he would cimb to the top and stay there for hours and hours untill i pinch him out and put him by his bird feeder, or in order to make him munch through good i would have to get his feeder and put him on the coffe table. capably i boguth him from a local pet sotre that hand feed him and they had at hand birds inside a fish tank looking thing well is that why mybe he is startled? and what can i do in order to make him get the impression safe and eat good and play surrounded by his new cage[home].
Answers:    You could also try to cover three sides of his cage and slowly open it up as he get used to his new home and surroundings he/she may surface overwhelmed by all the space and area. compare the size of the cage you enjoy him in to that of the pets stores cages. you could also try giving him/her a snuggle toy or happy hut to squirrel away in. My four Quakers love their happy huts.
At that age, he is still getting used to eating regular food. Get him a dome top playpen. It contains a food and river area as well as some climbing logs, and you can hang toys on it.
Put an ear of corn on the bottom of the hold. As he/she eats it be sure to turn it for him. This will probably be your best bet.
