Keep my cockatiel bird kernel fresh ?

well i get my bird seed from the magnolia bird fish farm where they put it into paper bags, and it breaks whenever i use it after a while, and after last time i put it into a plastic container with a cover, and after a few weeks i start noticing white small catipillars within the food in like there web or something; so where should i put it in that no bugs can get it?
Answers:    Zooladie is right - you should freeze your food. The eggs are already contained by the food when you buy it. Freezing will kill them. Keeping it in a sealed container will back by keeping any new bugs from reaching it.
you can put your seeds in the freezer approaching I do keeps it fresh and kills the larvae
