Nesting box problems?
My rabbits having babies.but she has already made a nest behind it what should I do?
give up everything alone i am a breeder of rabbits and never used a nesting box, all i do is supply them with hay and they will make a nest within it
:) Yes I see it was posted in the wrong category, but I would propose you leave the nest box alone. After all the bunnies have hatch, you could carefully relocate the nesting box, or if you prefer, all of the foreign borns and mommy into the nest box of your choice. Be sure mommy rabbit likes the new nest box! Get her used to it!
Answers: Leave capably enough alone. She will do and use what she sees fit and is comfy with. If you mess near it she may not use it or she may end up being stressed and leaving babe or killing them.
