Please recommend a angelic bird species for our existing lovebird?

Would like to buy a new bird for our lonely love bird. I'm lonely too. Don't want to buy another lovebird, as I have lost two ( one to unplanned death, one to illness) in the past three years. What other species can I buy that would not be loud (don't resembling cockatiell, too loud for me) that would be fun and friendly. That would befriend our lovebird and be fun to have. Any recommendations very appreciated. Me and my lovebird are both fundamentally lonely.
love birds individual love their own species and it will not go along with any other bird so please provide your love bird with other lovebird otherwise it will gain stressed and may die soon

well, lovebirds dont receive along with many many birds, they are too vicious and may hurt other birds. the safest is to buy another lovebird. ireally dont know any other bird that wont be injured by your current bird
Mating parakeets... do they enjoy different positions?
Answers:    if a love bird has grew up around another love birs then he requests another one i put a love bird and a parakeet together they fought so i had to go back to the pet store and buy another love bird i also read within maginze that they should be kept with their same species for example a cat and a dog dont get alone most of the time but most of the time a dog and dog get alone but do what is best for you lonley bird and you unless u put them surrounded by seprate cages so they dont fight
