Swelling on parakeet beak?

Hello,

A question on parakeet's (Australian) diseases, two days ago has appeared a swelling on the right side of the beak, a small area of pink, resembling a little bubble.

Please, could someone tell me why and what I have to do?
Thanks within advance,
Answers:    Is your bird able to eat regardless of the swelling? I would propose applying some antibiotic cream on the bird's beak (particularly on the infected area). Also, administer a vitamin and mineral supplement.

If the swelling does not improve in a couple of days, I would bring the bird to an avian veterinarian. It is impossible for any of us to know what wrong with your bird short a medical analysis.
This could be a bad sign of a cancer, or it might be a tumor. Take him to the vet immediately!
