we enjoy taken contained by a mannish budgie and my other mannish budgie wont stop fussing him?
male budgie was with a hen who just this minute died but he took to this other male within a few days
If you enjoy a mirror in the cage take it out.
Maybe combat over the bird in the mirror.
He's positive to have a mate.A budgie isn't fussy and you may find the new
one taking over has boss.
Answers: Be careful, this behavior can dance bad quickly. This is common behavior when a bird have lost a mate, but suddenly may realize that it is not the old mate, and fighting starts, especially when they are both males. Don't donate them in the same cage unsupervised. Put them surrounded by separate cages, but put the cages close together, (not touching) Introduce them slowly in a colourless environment outside the cages. Eventually allow them in like peas in a pod cage for short periods of time until you are sure they will be ok...Please read my profile.
