?What is this item?
I have two canaries and they have recently laid 3 eggs. Two hatch and the other one is on the bottom on the cage. Anyways, Both of the babies are eating, sleeping, etc. But when I looked at the babies, one of them had a big pale bubble on it's neck. This is the first time seeing this. The baby is one week old and is still pink. Is this bubble everyday? The other baby doesn't have one. Please help me!
The bubble may be some food that got stuck in the Babies throught and whether you touch it if it is hard I suggest that you help yourself to the Bird to the Vets to get it checked.
xoxo
I hope this helps
Firstly dance to a vet. They are the best for diagnosing health issues.
Does the lump come and go or is it there adjectives the time? Where exactly on the neck is it? I have a spike plucking bird that has a huge bulge come up on his neck ofter eating, it comes up close to the stand on his right hand side. Then subsides.
umm. stir to the vet, it could be cancer or a tumor. or maybe its just growing.
Sounds like it could be a ruptured nouns sac and needs to be popped. I would call vet and take surrounded by as they can tell better. Could also be its crop is to full. Vet is best advice here or maybe a breeder.
Answers: Could it be the babies crop?
I agree with Kenzie. It may be cancer or a tumer.
