When macaws (specifically B&G's) attain their full size? And when do their eyes finish lightening to washed out?

My male B&G is already 30 inches and approximately 1300 grams at 10 months. His eye color is on the lighter side of medium gray.

Answers:    Their eyes usually money at about a year but there is no correct time. Your bird is in the order of full size but it will gain some weight over the next 6 months. Their tail will get longer over the subsequent year but it's body is basically full size now.You do have a colossal bird.

i have a scarlet macaw and the breeder that i got it from said that it will be full grown at around 6 to 8 months. your bird sounds full grown but don't be surprised if his tail feathers catch a bit longer.i just said that because my Linnie parrot was 1 year hoary and his tail feathers grew a bit. there is no set time for when their eyes will finish lightning to yellow but this process is use ally done by the time the bird is at least 1 year older.
