When parakeets and other similar birds outdo absent, what happen to their souls?
They are smart enough to learn languages, particularly the African greys.
not a soul can answer that. it depends on what you believe. and you will more then likely get some fairly ridicules answers. (and not to knock parrots but they don't learn language, they swot up sound and then repeat it -not that they aren't smart though-)
Well, I am catholic. As a catholic, the catholic CHURCH believess that any pets don't have souls. So no matter what the animal is it does not have a soal.

I do not believe that animals don't own soals. Most animals are smart! They can lean a new language (like a parakeet). and they know right from wrong. I don't believe that God didn't make a heavan beside out animals. They are a very big thing on earth
