Whenever my grandmothers birds have eggs, she breaks them adjectives, do you know why?
i meant, when my grandmss bird has eggs, the bird breaks her own eggs. lol i didn't mean that my grandma is the one who breaks the eggs!

Hahah I'm sorry. I just thought it was funny that you clarified that it was the bird, not your grandma, breaking the eggs. hah
I can't be positive roughly this one. but i am thinking because she does not have the neccessary things to provide a proper nest or feeding environment. Also alot of birds don't approaching to raise their babies around human beings. If a human handles a baby bird, the mother will smell it and verbs it.
Answers: I put on a pedestal pigeons, and I can touch the eggs and disturb the pair off the nest all I want. But later again, pigeons are a lot smarter than alot of parrots! LOL! They cant smell it when a human touches the egg, that is a myth. Even though parrot are very sensitive about nesting with humans or greatly of noise.
Also, are you giving them enough calcium? The eggs could be soft and she is breaking them by accident. Just a thought.
