Where can I buy a rainbow lorikeet, its a impressionist?

I never heard of one, but I guess you are from Australia, because that's where on earth they are! Try this site:
Parrot Society of Australia
They seem to have alot of info on care and breeders

Yes it is a parrot, please read up on them before buying..they are fruit and nector eaters..no seed no pellet just fruit and nector so their poops are very, very liquidy and they can squirt that poop a couple foot away so making sure the area around the enclose is easy to clean is a must, and their cage wishes to be cleaned eeveryday because their poop is so liquidy as they will step in it and track it everywhere around their cage.

You also have to be cautious what kind of toys you buy no sisal or cotton rope toys as it can get tangled within the brush on the tip of their tounge, leather toys are ok but can be hard to keep clean and disinfect..so your down to acrylic toys that are washable..

They are exceedingly, very high energy birds dont' approaching to sit in one spot for to long, are always busy and on the dance, they can be loud and have some very shrill high pitched noise they make.

they are native to austrailia so if you live at hand not sure, but in the states you can find a breeders for them.
Answers:    If you are in Australia then check out www.petlink.com.au, www.tradingpost.com.au and also in the local papers you generally find them on a regular basis.

It is a lorikeet which is part of the parrot nearest and dearest but different from most of them as it has a different type of tongue which it uses to collect nectar from flowering plants.

If you are overseas check out the local papers and do a www.google.com turn out for pets for sales website and you should be able to find them. Before you make your purchase generate sure that you have at least 2 places local where on earth you can get a specialised lory mix as they don't eat seed similar to budgies and cockatiels, etc.
Also, you could go to the newsagents and buy Australian bird keeper magazine, they have Ads/lists for most angelic breeders in each state.

as mentioned above, they are great pets but be prepared for lots of cleaning, these birds are feathered water-pistols lol...

Yes, it is a parrot. They are nectar eaters, so not a right choice for some. They have VERY sloppy poo poo (sorry but they do) that is quite messy due to the nectar they require. The nectar can be bought surrounded by most pet shops.

As for where to buy, I would say do a search on dash to see where a breeder may be around your area, or call your local Vet or see whether there is an Avian Vet around to call.

Good luck and do some good research on these little ones! If ya don't intellect that mess, they are WONDERFUL birds and lots and lots of fun. Little clowns!
