Where can I buy a REAL macaw surrounded by Australia??

I own a pair own hand raised Eclectus, a lutino ring d¨Ścolletage and a cockatiel at the moment, and I've had birds my entire life. So for me the next step is a macaw! The piece is, each time I get my hopes up and send sour an e-mail to a "breeder" it turns out to be a scam! Pleeeease help me! Any type of Macaw is ok, it just has to be actual. My favorite is the hyacinth, but I realise that it is a very expensive and rare bird, so next would be B & G or a catalina. Help would be appreciated! And Australia would be the much preferred (QLD for specific!)
Answers:    You entail to check your local QLD papers. that's where the local selling will be.

you can also pick Talking bird newspaper monthly at most news agents. It's an aussie bird composition & they have a lot of bird classifieds go through.

Perhaps also the larger papers surrounded by your state for classified.

I wouldn't bother with online, there's way too many scam going on.

Expect to pay $7000 plus for a macaw too. Blue & golds are the cheapest & they range from 7 to 8000
Check with local bird clubs. Try Birdkeeper or Talking Bird magazine

You could also contact Graham at 08 8588 7169 or 0419 807 837, a breeder I've seen recommended.
