Why cant dodo birds fly?

Because their bodies were a hefty 30 lbs approx. & they didn't evolve wings large ample for flight. Because nature didn't find it necessary for them since their were no fluent predators on the island. Humans & dogs literally ate Dodo's until extinction, unfortunately.

Mother Nature showed her weird sense of humor with this bird, imagine a Ostrich bird: All body-no wing. That was the Dodo bird. They were built low to the ground like a turkey, and their bodies be so big and wings so small. They couldn't fly.But researcher state that they could run like the wind, but in a minute that they are extinct, we will never know.
