Why do birds crap on statues?

They land on the statues, then requirement to poop, so there it goes. The flat areas of a statue make it more distinguishable as well.
What do you deduce almost chick-fil-a?
The statue never moves and is external which increases the likely hood of it being pooped on. Humans would look like they get pooped on a lot if we never cleaned it off when it did ensue. Statues can't clean themselves.
