Why do chickens still run when they draw from near head cut stale?

when the chickens head gets cut off, the nerves that are contained by the body react for a few seconds around 10seconds or so this reaction make them run around sometimes they just may go physico they may not always run around but yea they do and humans don't do that but our brain still functions for 3 second after our head gets cut off.

In a biology exam they used this as an example, apparently some scientist hold a headless chicken alive for a year... the question was to do with how the chicken doesn't inevitability its brain to function its muscles, making the muscles involuntary.

well that's what it was resembling in my test but I'm not sure whether they were making it up just so we could talk more or less the muscle types
