Why do womanly cockatiel bird and other birds lay unfertilized eggs ? ?
why does this happen cuz i have just a womanly cockatiel by it self and i dont know how it layed one if i dont even have a male bird is this a sign of speak that she is ready or mature to have kid with a male

Most birds will lay eggs near or without a male around think of chickens it does be set to that if you have had her from young-looking she is probably ready to mate so if you can find her a mate and have a biggish aviary next to a nest box you could be a grandparent.
