Sincerely Juan
if it shares a cage beside another bird it could be showing affection by trying to feed her i had a pair of love birds the mannish fed the female all the time she never ate out of the bowl he other regurgitated his food for her . but on the other hand i would make sure your bird is pooping as a rule if the food cant come out one end it has to come out the other whether you are truly worried i would take her to the vet
Been a long time since I hold had parakeets but they used to regurgitate into the mirror to feed the "other" bird. I have much larger birds presently and they do all kinds of things when they have the urge to mate. It may be it have the urge to feed another. One way to tell whether a bird is sick is to watch the poop and if it is unusual within any way, get him to a bird vet. Good luck. My birds were extremely distasteful last month and I assume they had the urge to mate. Never buy a yellow check amazon, they are the meanest once they ready...all of them.
Answers:    If your bird has the vimot all over his obverse, this is not regurgitation and he is very sick and needs a vet.

However, if he have a mirror or a cage mate or a plastic bird in his cage, this is conventional. It's part of the mating rituals- one bird regurgitates for the other. When budgies are kept alone, they commonly regurgitate into a mirror or plastic budgie in their pen if they have one. However, if your other budgie lives surrounded by the same cage as this one, then they are most possible going to make and lay eggs (if they're a male and a female, of course). If you do own birds of opposite genders, just remove anything surrounded by their cage that could be used as a nest. Break them up if you see them mating. The womanly will probably lay eggs, but you can just remove them and throw them away. If your birds are both male or both womanly, this is also normal. Just break them up if you see them mating and remove any eggs that are laid.
Is this a sign that my parakeet is molting?   To any budgie breeders, I would resembling to know how long a mannish one is "randy"?   Is it true??   Will ant executioner kind a bird in poor health or die?
